Welcome to the Coordinated Bird Monitoring Database (CBMD), a flexible database for storage and retrieval of "count data".

Count data is defined in the CBMD as data collected when surveyors count something, such as birds, within selected spatial and temporal boundaries. The database was created primarily for bird surveys but could be used to store a wide variety of other information.

The CBMD is a primary tool for entry, storage, retrieval, and analysis of survey data. Data owners have many distribution options for their data through the CBMD, ranging from password protected to public access.
